Two nights ago, I found out that they're going to make a movie based on Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. Just so you know, that's the book I've been reading for the past four months ( I still need to read the last 100 pages). I should have known that they're going to make a hollywood film about it because after all, it's a real classic. One of the best books you'll ever encounter (this I guarantee!). I've also learned that it's going to be Angelina Jolie who will play the role of one of my all-time favorite fictional characters, Dagny Taggart. According to that source, Brad Pitt will play either John Galt or Hank Rearden, two of Dagny's leading men. I really really love this book so far and I just PRAY that if they're going to make a hollywood film about it, I hope they'll make a masterpiece out of it coz IT IS A MASTERPIECE! It's going to be a trilogy which I think is fair enough since the book is really really long and I don't favor the idea of "shortcutting" important scenes.
P.S. Though I very much admire Rand's work , I do not necessarily agree with all her philosophies
